There are many reasons.
First of all, one of the main roles of AoIG is educational.
Letter A is the first in an alphabet and A is the symbol
for the highest card in a deck, which helps too.
But seriously, if we will get to the point, where we will
give away an "Oscar" to best performing MSG athlete
of the year, what logically the name of such an organization
should be?
Yes, if we talking about uniform rating across all
mind sport games.
As far as we know, there is none exist
at this moment, but AoIG proposal. So by default, the
AoIG rating is the best.
Currently, AoIG limits its operation to the state of
Illinois, where there is a license required to run a
Poker Tournaments for money. We are in process to receive
such license.
In meantime, we will organized a poker tournaments just
for "educational purposes", where we will
train our staff on how to run a tournament and teach
people new to game how to win in poker. Small fee will
be collected for the lesson and winners will receive
a non-cash prizes.
